Amanda Hack
-
Amanda Hack is an executive coach who helps leaders build the presence, credibility, and influence needed to lead effectively at higher levels of an organization. She works with emerging and experienced leaders, from Directors to the C-suite, who want to increase their impact with senior executives, boards, enterprise stakeholders, and teams. Common engagements include preparing for or assimilating into larger leadership roles, delivering high-stakes presentations, and navigating complex interpersonal and business challenges. A hallmark of Amanda's coaching is her focus on Executive Presence: she helps clients learn to project confidence and credibility, hone their communication, and lead with authenticity, including navigating the particular barriers many women and underrepresented professionals face in being seen as both authoritative and approachable.
Beyond Executive Presence, Amanda partners with leaders across a broad range of development areas, including interpersonal communication, leadership effectiveness, change management, and execution. Her practical, results-oriented approach helps clients strengthen confidence and communication while driving meaningful outcomes for their teams and organizations.
Prior to her coaching career, Amanda spent over 20 years as a marketing and strategy consultant in both corporate and non-profit sectors, guiding clients in developing competitive marketing strategies and implementing effective internal policies and procedures that fostered strong, enduring organizations. That business background, paired with her formal training as a coach, allows her to bring a practitioner's eye to the challenges executives and managers face across industries.
Amanda holds a BA from Dartmouth College, an MBA from Harvard University, a coaching certification from the Center for Executive Coaching, and is a Board Certified Coach (BCC).
Amanda lives in New York City and enjoys fitness, travel, cooking and spending time with her husband and two grown children.
